《魔戒 Online 首部曲：安格瑪之影》 美將於4/27上市

　　歷經三年的遊戲製作，兩個發行公司的更換，及一次重新改名後，《魔戒 Online 首部曲：安格瑪之影（The Lord of the Rings Online: The Shadows of Angmar）》將正式上線。

　　於遊戲製作公司Turbine（同《龍與地下城Online：風暴來臨》製作公司）成功完成最後壓力測試的一個月，遊戲發行公司Midway在4/24日早晨發表遊戲正式上市，為慶祝發表，Midway總經理David Zucker敲響了當日下午紐約股市收盤的鐘聲。

　　正如其名，《魔戒 Online 首部曲：安格瑪之影》將是第一部採用由托爾金筆下描繪，並由彼得‧傑克森所拍攝的魔戒三部曲的中土世界為背景設定的線上遊戲。

　　遊戲將會有書中所寫的地域及怪物（所有魔戒遊戲版權將為Electronic Arts所擁有），全新的冒險劇情，及定期更新更多新的地圖與任務，如同剛宣布的冒險劇情「伊凡丁湖岸」。

　　遊戲本身月費為美金$14.99，而遊戲基本包定價美金$49.99，遊戲特別包則再加美金十元，特別包有一片DVD遊戲光碟，一組暢玩遊戲30天的啟動碼，一片遊戲製作過程的DVD影音光碟，一片遊戲原版配樂光碟，及一個不知名的秘密遊戲虛擬寶物，兩款遊戲包的遊戲分及皆為T 青少年以上適用。
