Edit: I stopped playing after constantly losing to Runecraft decks that can take multiple turns in a row. This broke the game IMO. Previous: I'm addicted to this game. Excellent production value and gameplay with lots of variety for different play styles. I also appreciate that you can get good cards for free with the rewards they give players.

I really want to give this game 5 stars but match making really sucks, as most beginner have mentioned. More often than not you get paired with someone much higher ranked and have way better cards than you so you have 0 chance of winning. Other than that the stories are really enjoyable, the cards are amazing. I've been playing for a few weeks now and can't put it down as I'm trying to build my decks little by little... maybe until the unfair matching making finally gets to me.

Felt the need to update my review as with time the game has changed. On the plus side: They give you everything you need for a good deck at the start, there's no "pressure" to pay in this game. Story's great very detailed. On the less positive side: Gameplay has changed very drastically, and is very near-broken with some cards and combos. I feel the art's much more cutesy anime than the older art style. Everything from furries to Pokemon-like beings. If that's your thing, cool, but it's not mine
