Edit: I stopped playing after constantly losing to Runecraft decks that can take multiple turns in a row. This broke the game IMO. Previous: I'm addicted to this game. Excellent production value and gameplay with lots of variety for different play styles. I also appreciate that you can get good cards for free with the rewards they give players.

Felt the need to update my review as with time the game has changed. On the plus side: They give you everything you need for a good deck at the start, there's no "pressure" to pay in this game. Story's great very detailed. On the less positive side: Gameplay has changed very drastically, and is very near-broken with some cards and combos. I feel the art's much more cutesy anime than the older art style. Everything from furries to Pokemon-like beings. If that's your thing, cool, but it's not mine

Shame. Tried to come back to this game after a few years. 2gb update won't download. I download and install the game just fine, go through the early matches no problem, but for some reason, the 2gb update required to actually play, won't download. I've tried wifi, I tried mobile data, I even tried 4G LTE network. I can't get passed 2%. And even that took about 40 mins.
