Aspyr Media 將推出 Mac 版《雷神之鎚 4》

　　美國德州奧斯汀廠商 Aspyr Media 日前表示，將推出適用於蘋果電腦公司（Apple）的麥金塔（Macintosh, Mac）電腦系統之 Mac 版《雷神之鎚 4（Quake 4, Q4）》遊戲。

　　Aspyr Media 說明這款由 Raven Software 負責開發，id Software 製作，以及 Activision 授權發行的 Mac 版《雷神之鎚 4》預計將在明年初上市；而更特別的是，根據 Aspyr Media 遊戲研發主任 Glenda Adams 在 Inside Mac Games 這個 Mac 玩家專屬遊戲討論站上所發表的文章看來，這款 Mac 版《雷神之鎚 4》也將可望成為第一款使用通用二進位碼（Universal Binary）編譯而成的 Mac 遊戲，這意味著 Mac 版《雷神之鎚 4》將能在搭載 IBM PowerPC 處理器，或是明年即將上市、搭載英特爾 Pentium 系列處理器這兩種不同處理器版本的 Mac 電腦系統上執行。
